Katie Taylor, CCLS

Katie Taylor, CCLS has been a certified child life specialist for over 15 years of and has supported thousands of families through their most challenging healthcare moments. She created Inside the Children's Hospital (formerly Child Life On Call) in 2018 to amplify the voices of families navigating pediatric healthcare and connect parents facing similar journeys.

Beyond hosting the podcast, Katie founded SupportSpot, a psychosocial support platform serving families across multiple children's hospitals, and provides consulting to help companies develop truly family-centered educational resources and training programs.

Her mission is simple: empower parents to become confident advocates for their children, and ensure no family feels alone in the hospital.

Lyndsey Fedorko

Lyndsey Fedorko brings both professional expertise and lived experience to Inside the Children's Hospital as the podcast's editor, partnerships and guest coordinator. As a medical mom herself, Lyndsey understands firsthand the challenges families face navigating pediatric healthcare—and the power of connecting with others who truly get it.

Beyond her work on the podcast and at Child Life On Call, Lyndsey serves as Co-Chair of the Family Council for the Improving Renal Outcomes Coalition (IROC), where she advocates for families and helps shape research priorities and support initiatives for kidney disease community.

Lyndsey's dual perspective—as both a parent in the trenches and a passionate advocate—ensures that every episode of Inside the Children's Hospital creates authentic connections and meaningful support for the families who need it most.
